KOSTER KD 2 Blitz 2.2Lb Box
KOSTER KD 2 Blitz by itself is used for the sealing of active leaks. It may also be used for face sealing /closing of cracks prior to the use of injection resins. If used with low-pressure injection systems, KOSTER KD 2 Blitz plays an integral part in the waterproofing of basements from the inside, and manholes, as well as for all other waterproofing against pressurized or non-pressurized water from the positive or negative side.
Most service technicians are familiar with customer calls to actively leaking walls only to inform the customer that it may need to wait until the flow slows or stops. The customer may not call back and you will lose a possible repair job. Many have tried using hydraulic cement just to have it washed away or fail during the injection. KD2 Blitz Powder solves this by allowing extremely fast set times and when used with our standard corner ports a typical 8 ft crack could be injected and completed in less than one hour.
1. Drill 5/8 inch holes along the leaking crack 1 inch deep every 8 inches.
2. Using corner ports bend back the plastic tabs and pound into drilled holes.3. With Kd2 Blitz using a putty knife hold powder at bottom of the crack and work your way up the crack to the ports. Water will need to be seeping out if not enough add water through the ports in place, sealing the leaks with KD2 around the ports.4. After completing to the last port, wet wall and apply some KD2 Blitz powder to the wet wall to build up to help support crack injection pressure.5. Wait approximately 5 minutes and begin standard low-pressure injection.
