Welcome to NextStar Cracked Concrete Foundation & Floor RepairCrack Repair for ConcreteEpoxy for ConcreteConcrete Foundation Walls, Pools, and retaining structures can be structurally repaired using Epoxy injection. Concrete epoxy repair to fill the cracks with a material that is stronger than the concrete. Leaking Basement Foundation Walls The most effective proven method is using low-pressure crack injection. Concrete cracks injected with Epoxy or Polyurethane foam can penetrate through the concrete to the exterior. We have many different variations of epoxy crack injection kits, for small or very large wall and structure cracks. The common sign of structural cracks is if they are larger than 1/4 inch or if there is horizontal cracking across a foundation wall. Most cracks that are vertical or smaller than 1/16 inch wide are not structural. Epoxy is the gold standard for commercial foundation repair. Polyurethane foam is ideal for leaking nonstructural cracks as it prevents water from entering but acts as a gasket. Foundation ProblemsThe only thing guaranteed is that a concrete foundation crack will eventually develop. Homeowners can easily do DIY repairs to basement floors using simple crack repairs, accomplished like a professional. Most poured concrete basement wall foundations will have cracks but may never leak. The presents of cracks is not necessarily a sign of a defective foundation. This type of foundation The common method to stop leaking concrete cracks is the use of a polyurethane foam injection. Polyurethane injections have the advantage of being effective 99% the first time at stopping water leaks. Most vertical and diagonal cracks are not structural and can be effectively injected with Polyurethane foam. When polyurethane comes in contact with moisture it causes a chemical reaction and will expand by foaming. This foam will fill cracks, and voids in and to the exterior of the foundation wall and soil. Most Polyurethane foams cure a semi-hard tough material that will block water and yet still tolerate some movement in the wall. Since the polyurethane crack injection material expands less material is needed compared to epoxy injection. Two procedures are used, low-pressure crack injection for cracks that have never been injected and between 1/64 to 1/4 inch. Very small actively leaking foundation cracks and that have been incorrectly repaired using hydraulic cement, caulking, or some other material. The high-pressure method is very effective to seal and stop leaks. Both ways of crack repair are very effective with any leaking wall crack. Polyurethane is a good choice for your home waterproofing. Leaking Cracked Concrete Foundation RepairThere are two common ways to repair cracked concrete, but each has its own pros and cons. However, if there is a need to create a level floor by adding more concrete overlays this may require an experienced contractor. Broken Garage or Shop concrete floors that require structural bonding many options are effective. Chemicals that can bond the floor slab together, for expansion joints a flexible compound is used. Concrete floors that have heavy cracking or stress, carbon fiber added can result in a stronger repair. Carbon fiber staples or stitches can add strength. Nextstar is your choice for carbon fiber floor kits, Roadware products such as 10 Minute Mender and Matchcrete clear. Cracked Concrete Floor RepairsCarbon Fiber Wall RepairBowed, cracked foundation walls that need support can be reinforced by applying Unidirectional Carbon Fiber straps. Applied to the interior wall these form structural columns to support the foundation’s wall. Carbon fiber is ten times stronger than steel and can be used to provide complete wall stabilization that prevents further wall movement. This works especially well after epoxy crack injections for poured walls. Block walls can have added support that will extend the life of the foundation. Unidirectional carbon spreads the stress load across the wall area vs steel which has all the stress concentrated in a few spots. Carbon fiber can be used to support around door, and window openings. Carbon fiber wall repair is cost-effective and is easy to apply even as a DIY kit. At Nextstar Technologies we provide many different densities of carbon fiber fabric, Pre-stressed carbon plates, Tow sheets, Stitches and Staples. We stock many different DIY and contractor kits.
