Installation Quick Reference

Pre-application: Inject active cracks in poured concrete walls with epoxy — full cure before strapping. Re-tuckpoint block walls — minimum 7 days cure. Grind full strap contact area to bare concrete with diamond cup wheel; vacuum all dust. Carbon fiber stabilizes and prevents re-cracking — does not seal existing cracks.
Sequence: Mark locations → grind and vacuum → cut straps → mix epoxy 2:1 by volume → apply epoxy bed to wall and strap face → place strap → roll center-outward → trowel to full fabric saturation → re-roll → cure 24 hr minimum at 40°F / 4°C.
Spacing: 4 ft on center maximum — vertical or horizontal. 2–3 ft for concentrated bowing or active movement. Horizontal bridging above and below all openings. Both wall faces at all corners.
Width Selection by Substrate
8" 300GSM — sound poured concrete, standard residential repair.
12" 300GSM — CMU block, cinder block, deteriorated or spalling poured concrete, outside corners.
6" 600GSM or 450GSM — sound poured concrete where geometry limits strap width, or maximum stiffness is required.
4" 300GSM — detail areas, tight geometry, or custom bonding widths built side-by-side.
